It's green
I decided to change my secondary color from orange to green. I felt green gave a more organic, earthy feel to the whole brand. The orange was too overwhelming and didn't quite fit with the program.

Logo on Thanksgiving Eve (11/27/13)
After more exploring today, I finally came up with an idea that I am happy with. I used water drops to convey the shape of a "W," and the negative white space forms a "M." I used water drops because they represent the Wavemakers' conversing water one drop at a time. Whenever I use other symbols such as waves or ripples, it came across as a beach or surfing logo. I think this logo has a strong concept and represents The Wavemaker Program well. It is now time for me to move pass the logo finally.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Logos (11/26/13)
I have been in logo mode today, sketching and drawing on the computer. I drew them even if I thought they wouldn't work, because I am running out of time and I still have nothing. After all the logos I have drawn i'm not happy with any of them.

Very rough poster idea (11/23/13)
Just making a rough poster with the idea of having a graph to represent information, and also adding a different logo to see how it looks… I'm gonna keep exploring.

More logos (11/22/13)
For these above I was trying to make a water, wave form that abstractly represents a cartoonish hand (for support). It is hard to see the hand unless it is told to the viewer.
Still exploring different ideas for logos. I was trying to convey ripples in some, while in others I was trying to figure out a way to make a logo out of just text.

Exploring new logo options (11/18/13)
I was told by two different professors that my last logo looked like the Travelocity Gnome, and it really does. So i began explore new options and I had an idea of incorporating ripples somehow in my logo. Above are a few rough ideas I had.

New Poster (11/16/13)
Out of all my posters so far, I think this one is my strongest so far. I think it gives a feeling of there being an overwhelming amount of water, but only a small percentage is actually fresh water for people to use.

New website mockup
Designed a new website layout that I am happy with. It will be a one page scrollable page that has a sticky navigation bar that stays attached to the top of the screen for easy maneuver.

Poster idea (11/10/13)
An updated poster, I wanted to use illustrations in my poster in stead of photography because I think it works well with the logo.

More logo ideas (11/7/13)
For this logo I was trying to show waves being made and then the top of the logo is suppose to represent an arrow. The arrow represents giving children and teens the right direction towards
water issues. With the two elements combined they make a water drop.
A few days later I edited the logo based off of feedback during a class critique and I made the arrow smaller and changed the color of it.

and more logos (10/30/13)
I was trying to figure out a may to make the "w" and the "m" into a organic wave form. I wasn't too happy with the result but It was still good to experiment with it.

Website Mocks (Rough)
This first one is a very simple website layout.
I wanted a little more to the website so I added an image and more color.
For this last one I decided to bring the navigation bar up to the top.
Rough Brochures
These are two different Brochure ideas I had. They are still very rough but my clients wants facts on them so I wanted to use three of the panels for facts. The other three will be used more information about the program, and contact information.
